It’s August 6th and I’ve been blogging at Blonde Sartorial for just over two months, however I’ve been reading blogs for a lot longer. One of my favourite things to do is scroll through my Bloglovin’ feed and read the content my favourite bloggers have recently posted. It was actually reading the blogs mentioned in this post that inspired me to start Blonde Sartorial and share my passions for writing and fashion on such a public platform.
Before I begin: this list is by no means exhaustive but rather just a post of appreciation for a selection of the wonderful women who inspired me to start my blogging venture.
Victoria Margrath of Inthefrow and I have very different personal styles but we’re actually from the same hometown and attended both the same sixth-form college and university, University of Manchester. Victoria was also a lecturer at the university before she became a full-time blogger. I was lucky enough to interview her for The Tab a few years ago and this conversation was my first introduction to how the fashion and blogging industries work.

Hannah Louise Fashion
Another Manchester alum, Hannah started her blog whilst still at university, just like I have and since she graduated, has turned it into her career. Of all the blogs featured in this post, Hannah’s personal style is the most like mine and I love the rock ‘n’ roll edge to her outfits. Her Twitter is also on fire and I’d highly recommend following her for a witty social commentary.

Ring My Bell
Ashley Madekwe is an actress and the blogger behind Ring My Bell. I was introduced to her work through spending Monday nights watching Revenge with my mum and discovered her blog through searching for the cast of the show on Google. Her style is London girl meets California cool and I absolutely love the regularly updated list of pieces she loves on the blog. Her cat (who regularly features on her Instagram) is also adorable!
A post I love: Babydoll
Lauren Black is my most recent find whose blog I discovered through the Instagram Explore page. She’s a London blogger who appears to share my addiction for Topshop and her blog is a compilation of high street style inspiration, travel and commentary on serious issues affecting girls in the blogging industry. Once of her most recent posts (linked below) practically had me standing up and giving her a round of applause through my Macbook.

Less wordy, more avant-garde editorial, Native Fox is the first fashion blog I ever discovered, and through a picture I saw on Tumblr no less. I’ve been following her style for years and she remains one of my top sources of high fashion inspiration.
A post I love: Violet
As previously mentioned, I’m pretty new to the blogging scene. I’m therefore always looking to connect with more of the blogging community. If you’re inspired by the content you see I’d love it if you could sign up to follow Blonde Sartorial either by email (to the right) or over on Bloglovin’. Also, drop a link to your blog in the comments so I can learn about your passions too!
Peace and love, Bec
