Well, damn. The official start of autumn – or fall, depending on preference – is less than two weeks away. And, in the week when Gucci announced they are a carbon-neutral organisation (just had to get that in because I think it’s fantastic), I’ve started thinking about the upcoming season. Here I present my ideas and inspiration in my autumn
It’ll soon be time to put away my vintage Levi’s and replace them with a selection of cosier pieces. This might sound a little weird but I can’t wait for the temperature to drop so I can whip out my colossal collection of winter coats. I have a new jewel-tone Burberry piece that I’m particularly excited to showcase. Other AW19 trends I’m loving include plaid, head-to-toe leather, statement headbands, and lug sole boots.

For the past 21 years, September and the start of autumn have meant one thing: back-to-school. I recently wrote about my plans to use the new season as a time of rejuvenation and self-improvement in “The September Issue”. I return fully to student life in a little over a week and am planning to stay organised with a beautiful workspace, CGD London ‘Getting Stuff Done’ planner and an extortionate amount of Starbucks.
